How It All Began
Export Leftovers is built around finding the finest quality branded garments at factory direct prices; Umar Qamar started the company when he couldn’t find international clothing brands in Pakistan. Turns out, a bunch of other guys felt the same way and we went from selling 10 polos from inside a factory meeting room to one of the largest web store ever built in Pakistan.
Umar's obsession with fashion, international brands and reducing waste made him look into Pakistani Garments Factories. Upon his research, he quickly found out that there are over 3000 Garments factories in Pakistan that produce merchandise for all the leading international fashion brands. Due to operational/infrastructural inefficiencies, Pakistani Garment factories produce around 5 million leftover (excess production) pieces annually.
Umar took upon himself to give these garments a meaning, a purpose to exist and to be loved. He launched Export Leftovers in 2013.
Today, the company has established a network of suppliers throughout Pakistan, Bangladesh and China. They work hard to deliver new, innovative products to keep pace with the needs of our customers.
